Where it all began in the heart of a cosy cottage in Nottingham...

With my ever growing love for candles, Mark decides one day that he would have a go at making candles for me!

After weeks and months of choosing scents, researching wicks and cooking candles, we both seemed to have discovered a new passion of creating beautiful candles and melts together.

Not only do we offer you beautiful natural soy wax candles and melts but after wholesome conversations in the garden with our neighbors (the local bee keepers - and also the origin behind our Humphreys Honey!), pinching some of their honey jars and beeswax ...

The thought of the beeswax range was also born!

Since those first few days we have been have been personally trying and testing each jar, wick, fragrance and wax to finally be over the moon with what we offer you today.

We thoughtfully create and lovingly hand pour each candle and melt in small batches in our kitchen and we have tried to place our love for the countryside and our home into all that we offer you.

A really important part to us is ensuring your candle and melts are special and the best they can possibly be when they reach you and to ensure this we personally package each product and cover each candle with hessian to make sure you are the first one to smell and see your lovely candles and melts since we poured them! (And of course to give that true cottage honey/jam jar look!)

16 years together when we started our little Wax Kitchen, and this chapter is going to be one of our favourties!
